Rt 9 Makerspace: Orientation and Safety Training
12/8/2018 @ 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

The Maker Lab, where you can use 3D printers, cameras, a laser cutter and more for free, is different from the other spaces in Route 9 Library and Innovation Center. Prior to using equipment in Rt. 9 Maker Lab, makers must complete this Orientation/Safety Training to learn how to avoid hurting or being hurt by the equipment.

Adult makers must have a photo ID and a DE library card in good standing. Makers 13-17 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian (with a photo ID and a library card in good standing) who can take the Orientation along with them and sign a Liability Waiver. Each maker will get to make a badge as part of this training.
Ages 13-Adult.
