Maker Monday at Rt. 9
7/16/2018 @ 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

DIY projects can be social! Bring whatever project you are working on, and bounce ideas around with fellow makers. Generally we have electronics, fiber art, programming, and 3D design projects going. Or, you can just come to meet the community and check out the new equipment at the Route 9 library!

If you don't have a current project, please pitch in and help with our BIG, COLLABORATIVE project: An interactive illuminated sign, which will hang proudly in the Route 9 Library and Innovation Center!

There is no fee for this meetup. We will teach you how to solder and display your name next to the completed sign as a "contributing artist."

No experience necessary! You don't need to be an artist, or an electrician, just at least 13 years old.

For an idea of the finished product we are working towards, check out the one we made for 1313 Innovation in Wilmington: https://youtu.be/gfkoQUmimko

We have over 200 to make, so everyone can help! We'll get the soldering started at 6:30 PM and you can help any time before 8, when we'll have to clean up.

Location: Rt. 9 Library and Innovation Center

3022 New Castle Ave, New Castle,  DE

Time: 6:00 -8:30pm
