This hands-on workshop is the perfect opportunity for those interested in, or intimidated by, electronics. We show just how simple soldering can be, and how it is a gateway into the fascinating world of electronics.
By the end of this short class:
• You'll get hands-on practice with "through hole soldering" by making a blinking and flashing "mesmerizer" kit
• You'll be ready to put together any kit or simple soldering project.
• You'll be able to come back and use our soldering irons.
Prerequisites: No experience necessary, but you must have taken Rt. 9 Maker Lab's Orientation.
Ages 13-Adult. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
Cost: All classes at the library are free. You will get to take your finished "mesmerizer" kit home.
About your instructor: Jessi Glassco has taught many soldering classes BoM.
Please RSVP HERE by July 16th, so we have enough soldering stations set up.
Location: Route 9 Library & Innovation Center
