Arduino and Javascript
Published by Jessi.BoM

I made a discovery a couple of weeks ago, which made me even more excited about Arduino. That epiphany is Javascript. So it happens that there are projects and tutorials out in the wild of the Internet about how to set up an Arduino and a Raspberry Pi so they can be programmed with Javascript, using the magic of node.js. This excites me because I know much more about Javascript then I do about C, which is what Arduino gets programmed in, or about Python, which is what Raspberry Pi gets programmed in. Also, I use Javascript for web programming, so now I can just one language for everything. It's enough to make a nerd cry.

Not only that, but I came across a project to do home automation using Arduino and Raspberry Pi's on Node.js, at https://ni-c.github.io/heimcontrol.js/
